Geely ck auto gearbox

hi , anyone can help. My 2007 Geely ck can drive forward but can't reversed. My auto gear box needs to be replaced ?. Anyone can advise how much will it cost new or recycle ?. and any recommendation. Thanks

You should use the word maybe and no need to change, as I was told to go to a mech to have it check. When a gearbox is checked the WS will want to do the job or they will charge you for the workmanship. Anyway I wrok to Scotty Kilmer on my car problem and he was right that when a gear is engaged and can't move. It indicates that the gearbox internal breaks down.
Just to share, Geely gearbox is very much smaller and there are no similar gearbox that can be used to replace it, only the original. My mech in Malaysia already done a check with all the stockist up to KL. As for my auto gearbox can move forward and not reverse is due to the internal gear broken into pcs. Already open up and see problem since there were no advise from the forum.

To fix a GEELY CAR GEARBOX in Singapore..... I was quoted around $3000 by one mech, one WS didn't even want to look at it and didn't even want to give me a quote. Really that bad for China car....

Anyway I had it fixed in Malaysia aound Rawang town. The mech took two days to search for the parts after failing to get a smiliar one, he actually modified a new gearbox for me, it took him another 2 days to fixed it. So in total he took 4 days and he charged me Sin$680..... ha ha , a new one and he even send me to Genting Casino, so I stay there 4 days for free with my card, worth it.....

Hi all im new, i drive the ck since 2007. Last year my auto gearbox fail, cant engage at traffic light. Tow to agent they quote $7k for change but offer discount coz i only service with them, nowhere else. Argue n argue end up pay bout $3k.

they are known for cut throat price. they have since closed shop. even for the alexandra branch. officially no more geely agent. those who want parts can always look for me. visit my facebook or email me for more info. details can be found in anouncement thread. thanks all

Hi Daniel,

Is your car still working fine after changing with the modified gearbox?

My car Geely CK Auto also got similar problem with yours yesterday, can move forward but can't reverse. Today when in idle, sometimes my car accelerating a bit.
It's too far away to Rawang town to fix it. Any recommendations?

Hi bros, i’m driving ck auto. can anyone advise me where can i buy gearbox auto repair kit? As my car cant move in any gear(netural all the way). i have send my car at jb wrkshp. The guy told me to find for him the gear repair kit as jb no parts for it, then only my car can be repaired. Or the second option he said was to modified the gearbox. Plz bros advice me on the parts or anyone know what other parts can be put in rather than geely parts. and if it modified will it pass inspection? Thx bros

bro probably you can check with scrap yard for your case if you decided not to get a new gearbox which is very costly. there is no repair kit for auto gearbox. as china most of the cars are manual transmission rather than auto. There are still auto cars but most of the chinese made cars are manual.

very luck that my prob was my gearbox filter was dirty. they replace it and change atf , all settle!

I hear that the gear box of Toyota Tercel or Corolla (now i don´t remember the specifict model) is the same that used by Geely CK 1.5 GS, only is required change the adjust th position of the wires to make the changes, if anybody had a suggestion about this. Question

The relation of distribution in the toyota gearbox is better and increase the performance of this car (Geely CK) Twisted Evil
